Our parish, Church of the Atonement, is an offspring of Historic Old Saint Luke’s (1765), its Mother church, and was built in 1888. It received extensive remodeling in 1919 and again, in 1932, when the cornerstone was laid for today’s Church of the Atonement.

Today’s natural stone church is full of yesterday’s historic charm including stained glass windows, a pitched ceiling with solid wooden beams and beautiful woodwork throughout especially around the altar. Situated on a level lot, it has convenient parking and is ADA compliant. Our cozy, English country parish is  welcoming and comfortable and we invite you to visit.

OUR CHURCH TODAY

By tradition, our  Episcopalian parish is Evangelical, and lends itself to a small, intimate membership robust in its devotion to Jesus Christ and Christian works. Our Congregation represents considerable diversity in age, nationality, occupation and denominational background. We welcome everyone.

In addition to regular Sunday services followed by a delightful coffee hour in its undercroft, Church of the Atonement is host to weddings and other ceremonial and celebratory uses. Please contact our staff if you are interested in our Church for your special occasions by emailing atonementcarnegie@gmail.com or calling 412-279-1944.
